Kaimono logo is inspired by TATAMI. A tatami (畳) is a type of mat used as a flooring material in traditional Japanese-style rooms. Tatami are covered with woven soft rush straw with core traditionally made from rice straw. Tatami were originally a luxury item for the nobility.
